This article covers common questions about Decision Console, including pricing, international coverage, trial access, and what Decision Console isn’t built to do. For questions not covered here, contact support@trestleiq.com.
Pricing and Access #
How do I get access to Decision Console? #
Access is available through Trestle’s sales team. Contact us or book a demo to get started.
Is there a free trial? #
Trial access is available through Trestle’s sales team. Get in touch through Trestle’s contact form to set one up.
How is Decision Console priced? #
Decision Console is sold on an annual contract, billed monthly on a per-seat basis. This allows agents to perform as many reviews as needed without per-query overhead. Contact Trestle’s sales team for specific pricing.
What does account management look like? #
There are two user roles in Decision Console: Console Admin and Console Analyst. Both can review identities, but Admins are able to manage seats, billing, and view usage reporting across the team. For more information, check out Understanding Team and Account Management.
Coverage #
What does Decision Console show me? #
Decision Console provides a comprehensive Decision Overview which includes a single Identity Score (0-100), an AI-powered Decision Summary, Attribute Cards, Attribute Details, and a Relative Distances and Map view. For more information on how to read and interpret these features, check out What is the Decision Overview and How Do I Read It?
Does Decision Console support international identity verification? #
Decision Console supports international phone, email, and IP data. Social Profile data is also international. However, address data is currently U.S.-only. If international address coverage is critical to your workflow, get in touch with the Trestle team to flag your use case.
Do Social Profiles affect the Identity Score? #
No, Social Profiles do not affect the Identity Score. They are a supplementary signal, and accept/reject decisions should not be based on Social Profile data alone.
Workflow and Integration #
Can I use Decision Console alongside Trestle’s APIs? #
Yes. Decision Console runs on the same data that powers Trestle’s APIs, so teams can route automated decisions through the APIs and send edge cases to Decision Console for manual review in a single workflow. There’s no need to change data sources or recalibrate your risk logic. Many customers run them together: APIs for high-volume automated decisioning, Decision Console for the cases that need human oversight.
Can I edit my inputs and re-run a verification? #
Yes. Inputs are editable on both the dashboard and within the Details Panel. You can correct a typo or adjust a search and re-run it without starting over or leaving the panel.
How should I use social profiles in a review? #
Social Profiles are most useful when an identity requires further investigation, and you want additional signals before you approve or reject. For example, a profile listing the same city as the address on file is one more point of corroboration you can factor into your decision.
Troubleshooting #
Why are some cards missing from my results? #
Decision Console only returns cards for the inputs you provide. If you leave the email or secondary address fields blank, those cards won’t appear, and the remaining cards adjust to fill the space. This is expected behavior.
Why don’t I see the Relative Distances and Map view? #
The map plots and measures the distance between the addresses and IP geolocation you provide. If there’s no primary address to anchor on, or too few location-based inputs to calculate a distance, the map may not appear. Adding a primary address and at least one other location signal (like an IP or secondary address) will populate it.
What does it mean when a field shows N/A? #
N/A means the check ran but no data was available for that attribute. That is different from a field left blank because you didn’t provide the input.
I was unexpectedly logged out. What happened? #
Each Decision Console seat supports one active session at a time. If you use the same log in to sign in on a new device or browser, any existing session is automatically signed out. If you’re being logged out unexpectedly and aren’t signing in elsewhere, contact support@trestleiq.com.
Why don’t I see any social profiles for this identity? #
When no profiles are returned, it means there’s no signal. A thin or missing social presence isn’t proof of fraud, and a strong one isn’t proof of legitimacy. A profile simply existing is neither a positive or negative signal, but matching information from multiple, longstanding social profiles can indicate a contact is legitimate.
Why does the same profile appear under both the phone and the email? #
Social Profiles will appear when Trestle has identified a link between the contact’s phone number or email address. Sometimes, people will use both a phone number and an email address when signing up for social media, in which case the profile will populate under both Detail Panels. This indicates consistency across the contact data, and can be a positive signal for agents.
