The default Find Person API search is broad with three key parameters used internally:
- Historical Search
- Phonetic Name Match
- Metro Match
Historical Match: We find the person even if this person lived at the address historically (not the current address).
Phonetic Name Match: This is where similar-sounding names are returned as results. For example, Rahul and Raul show up in the results even if the query is for Raul.
Metro Match: We will find the person within a 25-mile radius of the city/postal code provided.
By default, all of these parameters are on. Depending on the customer scenario, some or all of these parameters can be turned off to get a smaller set of results. To do so, please contact support@trestleiq.com.
