Decision Console is Trestle’s identity verification dashboard built for human reviewers. It gives fraud and risk analysts a single workspace to cross-examine an identity’s phone, email, address, and IP in one cohesive view, with an Identity Score (0-100) for an instant read on how well the identity holds up under scrutiny. An AI-powered Decision Summary reads those same signals and recommends whether to Approve, Investigate, or Reject, so reviewers know where to focus first.
Decision Console consolidates Trestle’s identity graph into a workspace purpose-built for manual review, replacing the multi-tab, multi-vendor workflow many analyst teams piece together today.
This article covers what Decision Console is, who it’s built for, how it fits into your existing workflow, and how to get up and running.

What is Decision Console? #
Decision Console is a seat-based identity verification tool designed for manual review. Where Trestle’s APIs (like Real Contact API and Phone Validation API) are built for companies running automated identity verification at scale, Decision Console is built for analysts making the final call on the edge cases automated systems flag for further review.
A typical workflow looks like this: a transaction, signup, or order gets flagged by an upstream fraud system. Maybe it’s an unusually large order, a mismatched billing and shipping address, or a new account opening a high-value credit line. A human reviewer needs to make the final call before it ships, processes, or gets approved. That’s where Decision Console comes in.
Reviewers either enter the contact details into the input fields manually or automatically via Trestle’s Link Builder Chrome Extension, press Verify Identity, and Decision Console returns a single Identity Score alongside Attribute Cards that summarize each core identity signal. Verified data is highlighted in green, invalid or high-risk data is flagged in red. Any signal can be expanded for deeper investigation through the Details Panel.
Between the contact’s name and the Identity Score, the Decision Summary button opens an AI-generated read on the identity. It includes a recommendation to Approve, Investigate, or Reject, the positive and negative signals behind that call, and a short written summary reviewers can copy straight into case notes.

How does Decision Console relate to Trestle’s APIs? #
Decision Console runs on the same data that powers Trestle’s APIs. The validations, cross-checks, and identity linkages used in Decision Console are the same ones available through our existing identity data APIs.
This means teams can start with Decision Console for manual review and implement APIs if they’re interested in automating upstream decisioning at scale. Because both run on the same identity data, the move to automation is much easier to implement. Manual review and automated workflows can run on the same identity checks.
Who is Decision Console built for? #
Decision Console is built for fraud and risk operations teams. Common roles include manual review analysts, fraud operations specialists, trust and safety teams, and risk operations managers.
The product supports two user roles, the Console Admin and Console Analyst:

What use cases does Decision Console serve? #
High-Risk Transaction Review #
A transaction is flagged by an upstream fraud system (unusually large order, mismatched billing and shipping, new account placing a high-value order). A human needs to make the final call before it ships or processes.
With Decision Console, every identity signal is pulled into one workspace. The Identity Score gives reviewers a quick read on identity consistency, the Relative Distances and Map view surfaces geographic mismatches, and reviewers can drill into the supporting data to justify the decision.
Signup and Onboarding Review #
A new user is creating an account (opening a credit line, signing up for a marketplace, registering for a financial service), and the team needs to verify the identity is real and trustworthy before granting access.
Decision Console cross-checks name, phone, email, address, and IP together, making synthetic and fake identities (which usually fall apart under cross-examination) much easier to spot. The Identity Score makes obvious approvals fast, so reviewers can focus their time on the cases that actually need attention. Agents can also view associated social media profiles under the Email or Phone Details, adding an additional layer of linkage.
Shipping and Logistics Validation #
Before a high-value order ships, someone needs to verify that the shipping address is legitimate and not a freight forwarder, drop point, or address mismatch designed to launder stolen goods.
The Secondary Address card flags freight forwarders explicitly. The Distances and Map view shows the distance between billing address, shipping address, and IP at a glance. Reviewers can compare the primary and secondary addresses against the same name and phone, surfacing cases where the shipping address has no connection to the buyer’s history. Available for U.S. addresses only.
Marketplace Trust and Safety #
For online marketplaces, ridesharing platforms, short-term rentals, and similar services, trust and safety teams need to verify that users on the platform are who they claim to be for transactional safety and the safety of other users on the platform.
Decision Console gives reviewers the ability to cross-examine identity attributes and surface inconsistencies that suggest synthetic or risky accounts.
Lead Fraud Mitigation #
Lead buyers and lead generation platforms can use Decision Console to manually review suspicious leads before they enter downstream sales workflows, weeding out fake, recycled, or synthetic leads that would otherwise burn agent time and skew conversion metrics.
How to Get Access #
Decision Console is sold to enterprise customers on an annual contract, billed monthly on a per-seat basis. Each Console Admin and Analyst counts toward your billable seats. Trial access is available by contacting your account executive or reaching out at support@trestleiq.com.
