At times, Trestle might have incorrect data for a certain attribute. This happens for a variety of reasons, including incorrect data from our sources or public records not being updated yet. In general, our accuracy for names is above 90%.
We highly recommend prospects and customers do not test a single name or even 5-10 names to decide on the coverage or accuracy of any data provider. Instead, customers should run a data test at a bigger scale with 500-1000 records to get an accurate reflection of the data provider’s coverage and accuracy.
If a customer does not have a truth set to determine the accuracy, we can work with them. We can share more insights from the data sets they use to test its accuracy. Even though those data sets cannot be shared for privacy reasons, the insights from it should give further confidence to the customer on Trestle’s coverage and accuracy, which will be higher than any other identity data provider.
