Does this impact my Phone Contact Grade?

Yes. When the Litigator Check add-on is enabled and is_litigator_risk returns TRUE, the Phone Contact Grade is automatically set to F. These leads should not be contacted.

Why isn't this included by default?

Our identity APIs serve multiple use cases – fraud prevention, enrichment, lead verification. Litigator Checks are specific to outbound dialing, so we offer them as an optional add-on to avoid impacting customers who don’t need this feature.
