Tell us a little bit about yourself, background, and role. How did you land here?
My name is Ana, and I’ve lived in Washington for the past 10 years but now live in Seattle. I graduated with a degree in Information Systems from Washington State University a few years back (GO COUGS!). I originally started my career as a data analyst but moved to sales in 2021, and I haven’t looked back. I worked at a few large tech companies, but I have always been interested in working at a startup. One day, I saw Trestle was hiring an Account Executive, so I connected with Co-founder and CRO, Jordan Reynolds. Shortly after, I had an interview, and the rest is history.
What does your daily routine look like?
Every day is a little different. I start my day by driving over to Bellevue from Seattle. Once I’m in the office, it’s a rotating mix. Usually, I’m catching up on emails, working with our trial developers, prospecting for new business, and holding external sales calls to facilitate the sales cycle.
What excites you most about Trestle?
There’s two major things that excite me about Trestle. The first one is being able to work alongside Jordan and Kushal. They have provided learning opportunities that I see as a once in a career opportunity, so I’m really just happy to be here and learn from them – sales related or not. The second thing that excites me is being able to work at a startup, which allows me the opportunity to wear many different hats. I know I will become a stronger seller and learn so many other aspects of what it takes to grow a business because of this opportunity.
