Trestle Q2 2025 Product and Development Recap
As we begin Q3, we’re excited to share the progress we’ve made across product, infrastructure, and platform capabilities last quarter. Each initiative in Q2 brought us closer to our goal: making identity data more accessible, accurate, and actionable for our customers.
Product Improvements
We made significant enhancements to our API product suite by launching three new add-ons that provide customers with greater control and insight into lead quality:
- Litigator Checks: We iterated on the Litigator Checks Add-on that flags known TCPA litigators in real time, helping customers proactively avoid high-risk contacts and reduce potential legal exposure. Since launch, it has already been used in over 0.7 million queries across products.
- Email Deliverability: This feature identifies whether an email address is active and reachable, offering a foundational layer of validation that supports better lead targeting and filtering. Early adopters have reported reduced bounce rates and improved campaign performance.
- Email Age Score: This add-on indicates how long an email address has been active within our network. A longer and consistent activity history typically suggests greater reliability, while newly observed addresses may indicate higher risk. Customers are using this signal to identify potential fake sign-ups and to better segment and prioritize their outreach efforts.
These add-ons are available for trial, self-serve and enterprise users and now impact our phone and email contact grading logic, giving customers a more nuanced lead quality and prioritization across sales and marketing workflows.
In parallel, we made substantial improvements to Real Contact API, increasing match rate accuracy and coverage across phone, email, and address inputs. These changes have resulted in stronger name-match consistency, improving customers’ ability to verify contact data confidently.
We expanded global coverage in our Phone Validation and Reverse Phone APIs. Customers can now validate and verify identities globally for verification and fraud prevention use cases while being compliant with local regulations. Our consistent efforts to improve our product supported 300MM+ customer queries in Q2.
Platform Enhancements
We made several updates to improve the experience for our users:
- Google Authentication was introduced to streamline the sign-in and sign-up process. Within the first week of launch, Google Authentication accounted for 14% of all new sign-ups on the platform, confirming strong user satisfaction and adoption.
- We continued to iterate on the Developer Portal, making it easier for users to test APIs, interpret responses, and integrate Trestle data into their own systems. Some key improvements include:
- Incorporation of add-on in portal for trial, self-serve, and enterprise users on portal
- UI updates and email communication when users reach their API quota limits
- Improved set of recommendations and UI within our data assessment reports
- Better add-on(s) pricing clarification on product details page and batch upload
- Improved experience in Your Usage with dynamic graphs and smoother filtering
Security and Infrastructure Improvements
- We successfully completed a third-party penetration test, reinforcing our commitment to secure development practices.
- We migrated Phone Validation API from AWS Lambda to Amazon EKS, resulting in better performance, scalability, and reliability. We also refactored key internal usage systems to simplify usage calculations and improve the accuracy and transparency of quota tracking.
- In parallel, we implemented secure hashing for all customer query inputs — phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses are now hashed using SHA-512. These hashed values are retained for up to two years to identify metadata signals that help improve the product, while ensuring the original data remains fully protected and irreversible.
- We also added reCAPTCHA to protect our public endpoints from automated abuse.
New Integrations
In Q2, we continued to expand our partnership and integration efforts, launching new integrations and making much needed updates to existing ones. Most notably:
- Launched integration with Clay: The #1 go-to-market platform to help teams verify and engage prospects at scale.
- Launched Real Contact and Phone Validation integrations with Lead Prosper: A customizable lead routing and delivery platform.
- Updated Zapier Triggers to use most up to date API versions
- Launched Phone Validation in the GoHighLevel Marketplace: This integration validates phone numbers and activity data when a contact is created, helping clients improve SMS deliverability and contact rates.
- Launched Phone and Address Validation integrations with Standard Information — enabling their users to access cleaner, more reliable contact data directly within the platform.
Q3 promises to be a big quarter for partnerships with several exciting integrations in the queue!
