Trestle Q4 2025 Product and Development Recap
Q4 2025 marked a major milestone for Trestle. Our platform processed 1.65 billion queries, the first time we’ve surpassed one billion queries in a single quarter. This represents a significant increase from 640 million queries in Q3, reflecting strong customer adoption and our ability to scale reliably at high volume.
Product Improvements
We delivered multiple enhancements across Trestle’s core APIs in Q4, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and ease of integration.
Phone-to-Name Confidence Score Introduced:
A new Phone-to-Name Confidence Score ranging from 50 to 90 that indicates how confident Trestle is that the returned name is correctly associated with the queried phone number.
Sandbox Data and Environments:
Sandbox support was introduced for Real Contact API, Phone Validation API, Caller Identification API, Reverse Phone API, and Smart CNAM API, allowing users to test integrations using fixed, sample-structured responses via the is_sandbox parameter.
Name Accuracy Improvements:
All phone APIs were updated with enhanced name-ranking logic, improving top-entity resolution and ensuring more consistent results across phone-related products.
Improved Activity Score Accuracy:
Our Phone Activity Score now delivers more reliable phone activity signals.
Improved Input Validation:
Phone Validation API and Real Contact API now return clearer error messages when inputs are missing or invalid.
Expanded Litigator Coverage:
Litigator Checks in Phone Validation API and Real Contact API were expanded through the addition of a new data vendor source.
Platform Enhancements
Platform-level improvements in Q4 focused on scalability, compliance, and self-service workflows.
EKS Migration:
Reverse Phone API, Caller Identification API, and Smart CNAM APIs were migrated from AWS Lambda to Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), improving performance, availability, and scalability under increased query volumes.
Developer Portal Improvements
Several updates were introduced to improve usability, discovery, and self-serve adoption:
- A major highlight of Q4 was our launch of a brand new homepage UI with improved readability and navigation.
- We introduced the “Recommended API” feature to help users identify the most relevant products for their use case.
- Free sample data testing has now been enabled across all products, allowing users to test APIs with Trestle-provided inputs at no cost.
- We’ve enabled richer default outputs for Real Contact and Phone Validation APIs through preselected add-ons for trial users.
- A new Errors tab under “Your Usage” provides detailed visibility into query failures.
- Lastly, we’ve made significant Batch Upload improvements, including:
- Resolution of memory issues affecting large batch downloads
- Fixes for 429 errors during bulk uploads
- Improved handling of simultaneous multi-file uploads
- Browser compatibility fixes, including Firefox
Security and Infrastructure Improvements
Reliability, scalability, and security remained core priorities throughout Q4. Our usage and billing systems were re-architected to support near real-time visibility, allowing customers to see their usage within seconds instead of waiting 10 minutes.
We successfully renewed our SOC 2 Type 1 audit, reaffirming our commitment to security and compliance.
Our infrastructure modernization continued through Amazon EKS to support higher-scale workloads.
We’ve made regulatory-driven data handling updates to ensure continued compliance with evolving privacy and telecom requirements.
Integrations
This quarter, we’ve introduced Litigator Checks, Email Deliverability, and Email Age Score fields within the HubSpot Real Contact app.
Looking Ahead
As we begin 2026, our focus is on scaling responsibly while continuing to strengthen the core of our platform. This includes adding and improving signals to better support identity verification use cases, increasing accuracy and coverage across all APIs, and enhancing the self-serve portal to give customers clearer visibility and control.
We will also continue to expand and refine third-party integrations, alongside ongoing security and infrastructure improvements to ensure the platform remains reliable, compliant, and performant at scale.
