Meet the Team: Kaiden Foster
Tell us a little bit about yourself, background, and role. How did you land here?
I started out in the telephony data industry in 2018 at Telo, a CNAM API provider. While originally a support role, I was also involved in sales and marketing throughout my time there. By way of acquisitions, I spent time at Neustar before transitioning to a Product Management Analyst role at TransUnion. After a brief hiatus in 2023 to explore alternative career paths, I joined the Trestle team in 2024; excited to dive back into the world of identity data APIs.
What does your daily routine look like?
My priority, first and foremost, is supporting our Self-Serve Wallet customers. I usually start each day reaching out to new customers who have signed up with Trestle. We’re always curious to learn more about each project and how we can best assist. The rest of the day I may be:
- Working with our marketing team on new blog/newsletter content
- Writing/updating integration guides
- Troubleshooting customer support issues
- Building and maintaining HubSpot workflows
- Number crunching and analytics
- Outbound sales
One of the things I appreciate most about a small team is that every day looks different! It’s a fast paced environment, and we all get to work on a bit of everything.
What excites you most about Trestle?
- Solving Real Problems: Helping businesses clean up bad data, improve lead quality, and see measurable results is incredibly rewarding. Watching the “before and after” impact of Trestle’s data in action never gets old.
- Making Data More Accessible: Building intuitive tools like the Phone Grading App for HubSpot and our upcoming Clay integration makes Trestle’s powerful data available to non-developers. Simplifying complex processes and seeing customers succeed is what drives us.
- Rapid Growth and Big Opportunities: Trestle is growing fast, and it’s an exciting journey — expanding partnerships, tackling ambitious goals, and working alongside innovative customers keeps every day fresh and challenging.
What Trestle value do you relate to most? Explain why.
I relate most to our Customer First value. Nothing feels better than solving a last minute support request on Friday afternoon or talking with a client on the phone minutes after they sign up. Customers are always pleasantly surprised, especially when we’re able to solve their problems quickly.
As a customer, I’m constantly surprised when the process breaks down between a sales call and actually using a given service. I strive to maintain the same customer experience from the beginning of the relationship, to onboarding, to ongoing support.
